Brackenhill is a wonderful site that deserves not only to be preserved intact, but also to be reopened to the public. We need a big philanthropist as of yore to save it and make it into a thriving community garden or art centre. This website has some fabulous pictures that really demonstrate the beauty, architectural grandeur and cultural importance of both the house and the gardens. There seem to be lots of out buildings that would make wonderful art galleries, studios and visitors centres. It would be such a shame if this became for private residential use only.
